Welcome!
I am an evolutionary biologist and anthropologist, interested in the evolution of human life history, with a focus on the emergence of childhood, learning, and cooperative breeding.
Curious about drivers of behavior, I studied Evolutionary Biology and discovered that exploring evolutionary explanations for our species is really fascinating. Since then, I've done research that combines cross-cultural, statistical, and observational methods to study the evolution of human behaviour. For this research, I conduct field studies in an agricultural village on the Island of Pemba, Tanzania.
